I founded Recovery Breath because breathwork changed my life and I couldn't keep that to myself.

I'm Arthur Wakes-Miller, a trauma-informed breathwork facilitator and Molchanovs freedive instructor. My journey into breathwork began as a personal one when I lost my younger brother to a car crash. This incident initiated a path through my own healing and cracked open something I hadn't expected. What I found on the other side was presence, clarity, and a version of myself I didn't know was possible.

As a freediver and adventure lover, I bring a perspective to breathwork that you won't find in a typical wellness studio. I understand breath at its absolute limits. What it means to surrender to it completely, to trust it with your life. That understanding shapes every session I guide. I know what your nervous system is capable of, and I know how to take you there safely.

My workshops are built on modern science, trauma-informed practice, and a genuine commitment to creating a space where you feel safe enough to let go. Whether you're carrying stress, grief, emotional weight, or simply a curiosity about what's possible, the breath meets you exactly where you are.

Every session is crafted to give you more than an experience. It's designed to give you a practice, tools you can carry into your daily life long after you leave the room.
